Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is an Afghani woman born of a Russian father and an Hindu Indian mother. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian English, French Persian as well as Hindi. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father as well as mother of a Russian mother. When she was 11 she choreographed and danced in a show that resulted in an appearance on German TV appearance. The show featured a Russian-born snow maiden who transformed into a fun Indian dancer. Following her graduation from the requirements for high school at the age of 11 in New York, she received her bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. After high school, she attended acting classes at HB but left for improv classes at Groundlings School. She then took on several comedy roles. Her family was brought up within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and Russian-speaking mom Olga. When she was just 13 parents separated. Her father relocated her household to East Meadow New York. Her role on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most notable television performance. Also, she played recurring characters in Fox's The Following as well as NBC's The Blacklist.
